ScoutQuest 100 Trading Post
Eagle Scout Association Service Crew
June 4-6, 2010

The Eagle Scout Association will be responsible for one (1) trading post at ScoutQuest.

The trading post will have two tents and multiple tables.

o 20 x 40 - used for selling merchandise
o
10 x 20 - used for selling food, snacks, and drinks

 Each trading post will be supplied:

o Two tents
o Refrigerated trailer
o Dry storage trailer
o Barbecue grill
o Dumpster
o Tables and chairs
o Food & merchandise to sell
o Money boxes

 

Trading post hours:

Friday: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. – 3 hours of operation

Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. – 9 hours of operation

Sunday: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – 3 hours of operation

Workers will be assigned to one or more 3 hour shift, with the exception of opening and closing shifts who will need to allow 30 minutes before opening and after closing to open and close. The whole day would be preferable if possible.

 

Five workers should man the booth. Additional five workers needed on Saturday to barbecue.

Trading post workers should wear the Eagle Scout Association polo shirt, ScoutQuest staff t-shirt / polo shirt, or a complete and correct Scout uniform.

 

Sales at the trading post will be on a cash or check basis.
